Types of Abuse

We have all usually experienced abuse in one form or another. We all react differently from that abuse. Sometimes the reaction is because of our birth order, the eldest child typically having more self-confidence than the younger children because of they are often made to feel responsible for their siblings. Boys often respond in a different manner than girls and often adults exhibit the same behavioral reaction to abuses as they did when they were children.

I became very curious as to why people react the way they do. I wanted to know and truly understand why children from the same household displayed completely different behavior habits as adults.

There are several types of abuses. Each type of abuse causes long term and even permanent damage to the psyche whether a child or an adult is the recipient. When reading about each of these abuses, think in terms of your own life if you have been the recipient.
